JAXUSA Partnership, a division of the JAX Chamber, welcomed Mark Wallace as keynote speaker at the fourth quarter JAXUSA Luncheon. Wallace, CSX Corporation’s executive vice president of sales and marketing, shared insight into the Fortune 500 company and its vision for the future.

As one of the nation’s leading transportation providers, the CSX transportation network encompasses 21,000 miles of track in 23 states; Washington, DC; and Canada. Nearly two-thirds of Americans live within the network’s service territory.

The company has appeared on the Fortune 500 list 25 times, generated more than $12 billion in revenue last year and employs nearly 22,500 employees across its network.

Each year the JAXUSA Partnership International awards are presented for outstanding business performance and corporate citizenship. The 2019 awards were sponsored by BBVA and presented by Nelson Bradshaw, the bank’s Northeast Florida CEO.

The awards highlight the importance of international business in Northeast Florida and recognize the companies who have already seen why this region is an outstanding location for their business operations.

The 2019 JAXUSA Partnership International Award winners are:

  • JinkoSolar –– International Company of the Year
  • Marks Gray shareholder and immigration lead Giselle Carson –– International Individual of the Year Award

The luncheon drew more than 450 business leaders and elected officials to the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront in Downtown Jacksonville.
