May 24th, 2019 · Leave a Comment

The Museum of Science & History (MOSH) hosts an interactive exhibition, Expedition: Dinosaur, throughout three floors of the Museum that celebrates and explores the fascinating world of dinosaurs.

The exhibition, opening on May 25, features a wide range of hands-on interactive experiences that include puzzles which allow guests to mix and match dinosaur species and put together Pangea from our contemporary continents. Visitors can step into the shoes of a paleontologist with interactive cabinets filled with excavation artifacts and fossils. Guests of all ages can also play around with the augmented reality sandbox to learn how Earth’s climate is affected by the landscape, and they can try their hand with the egg incubator robot, being careful not to crack under pressure. These exhibits combine education and hands-on activities to create an engaging experience for everyone.

MOSH will host a public opening event for the exhibition on Saturday, May 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Think like a scientist and discover what rocked the dinosaurs in the Bryan-Gooding Planetarium, experience extreme pre-historic weather in the JEA Science Theater and more.

The exhibition is on display through Sept. 2, 2019, and is included with Museum admission. For tickets and more information, visit theMOSH.org.
