November 11th, 2019 · Leave a Comment

The Annual America Recycles Day will be held on Friday, Nov. 15, at the Prime Osborn Convention Center and at the Bank of America in Neptune Beach.

The City of Jacksonville and Keep Jacksonville Beautiful will offer free shredding services to Duval County residents at the event. In addition to recyclables and materials to be shredded, residents are encouraged to bring items for donation, including gently-used shoes, blankets and coats, towels, trial-size products, pet food (unopened), eyeglasses, office and school supplies, and arts and crafts supplies.

The event hours are from noon to 5 p.m. at the Prime Osborn location and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bank of America location. Please note that shred activities will end at 4 p.m., but all other items will be collected until 5 p.m.
