The MBF Champions for Child Safety Pro Am Golf Tournament, hosted by the Monique Burr Foundation for Children, is scheduled on Monday, Nov. 28, at The Palencia Club in St. Augustine. This year’s event is the Foundation’s 19th annual golf tournament and will offer corporate teams and individuals the opportunity to golf for a good cause with professional golfers. The honorary chairs are Fred Funk, Jim Furyk and Mark McCumber.

Tournament proceeds support MBF Child Safety Matters™, a comprehensive, school-based prevention program that provides information and strategies to prevent bullying, cyberbullying, digital abuse, and all types of child abuse.

The event will begin on Sunday, Nov. 27, at 5:30 p.m., with a Pairings Party, sponsored by Heritage Capital Group, for registered golfers at The Palencia Club. A jewelry trunk show by designer Dao Fournier will be onsite to help with any holiday shopping needs, courtesy of Underwood Jewelers.

The foursomes are $7,000 or single players may register for $1,750.
