Capitalizing on a successful (and sold out) Executive Women’s Day in 2011 and 2012, THE PLAYERS hosted 250 women business leaders and decision makers for an expanded Executive Women’s Day at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse.

Executive Women’s Day is part of the overall Women’s Initiative of the PGA TOUR. The PGA TOUR recently announced Astellas as the Official Sponsor of the PGA TOUR Women’s Initiative, which includes Executive Women’s Day events and Women’s Pavilions at 17 tournaments in 2013.

Astellas and the PGA TOUR are working together to inform women about important health and wellness issues, encourage discussion on those topics and create opportunities to talk and learn about them. Executive Women’s Day focuses on success stories from women who’ve built profitable businesses, become corporate leaders and utilized mentoring and networking to develop strong business and social relationships.

Executive Women’s Day will generate funds for the Junior Achievement of North Florida’s JAGirl$ program, which is designed to help young girls learn about finances and economics to help them compete in the workplace. More information about THE PLAYERS is available at PGATOUR.COM/theplayers.
