The public’s support on issues concerning Duval County Public Schools is noticeable, and includes these highlights:
- The public’s confidence has risen in the School Board and Superintendent’s office in terms of effectiveness and improving public education in Jacksonville
- 76.6 percent of the public rate DCPS teachers as very effective and somewhat effective
- There was an increase in the public’s perception of K-12 education being better in Jacksonville
- The public’s perception for the graduation rate is 61 percent, when in actuality it is currently 74 percent.
