May 17th, 2017 · Leave a Comment

Local, regional, and national artists are stepping up to support the Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol with an exhibition of turtle art.

The annual Sea Turtle Art Show will open May 25, and run through July 4, and a portion of the proceeds from turtle art sales will be donated to the Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol.

The gallery will host an opening reception from 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday, May 26. The public is invited.

This year’s artists include Liz Lind, Susan Fitzgerald, Will Dickey and Maureen Buik. Sea turtles created in glass, clay, jewelry, paintings, photography and metal will be on display and available for purchase. Members of the Beaches Sea Turtle Patrol will be available at the opening to answer questions and discuss how important this group is to the wellbeing of these sea creatures.

First Street Gallery is located at 216-B First St. in Neptune Beach.
