ICI Homes’ Shenandoah model at FishHawk Ranch

Newland Communities and ICI Homes are honored to be selected to build the 2016 Tampa Bay Builders Association’s Parade of Homes Showcase Home. Representatives broke ground recently on an exclusively-designed model home in FishHawk Ranch, which will be the focal point of the annual event to be held March 5 – 13, 2016.

FishHawk Ranch is owned in a joint venture partnership between NORTH AMERICA SEKISUI HOUSE, LLC (NASH), the U.S. business unit and full subsidiary of SEKISUI HOUSE, LTD., Japan’s largest homebuilder and leading diversified developer, and Newland Real Estate Group, LLC, whose development business, Newland Communities, is the master developer of the community. FishHawk Ranch is one of more than 30 communities the NASH-Newland partnership owns together in 11 states across the United States.

Nestled among mature oak canopies, the showcase home will be one of just 41 homes available in ICI Homes’ new Lake Houses neighborhood in the award-winning  FishHawk Ranch community.

“Not only are we honored to welcome ICI Homes to FishHawk Ranch, but we couldn’t be more pleased that they have been selected to build the Showcase Home,” said Pam Parisi, Regional Marketing Director at Newland Communities “We believe their rustic, but modern Lake Houses will be a perfect complement to the FishHawk Ranch community.”

Boasting five bedrooms and 4.5 baths, the nearly 6,000 square-foot, two-story Shenandoah showcase home celebrates traditional and modern architectural styles with a decidedly “rustic-lodge” flair. Mother Nature is the inspiration for the house, which features tall glass windows, multi-tiered decks and a second story back porch overlooking a babbling brook.

Indoors, designer features include a casual, open family room with soaring ceilings, an expansive farmer’s kitchen and a fabulous owner’s suite with a European bath. In this home, even man’s best friend has a well-appointed living area, including a dog cottage under the staircase and a pet-friendly shower.

One of the most distinctive elements of the Shenandoah is the unique and cozy “tree-tops” studio, built over the detached garage. Ideal for occasional guests, a home office or for boomerang children, the studio is both connected and apart from the main living areas, providing privacy and a delightful second-story view.

“The Tampa Bay Builders Association’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors selected this home based on its exceptional value,” said Jennifer Doerfel, executive vice president of the Tampa Bay Builders Association. “This home represents the finest the building community has to offer to new home buyers.”

Each home in the Lake Houses development will be situated on unique wooded sites near FishHawk Ranch’s award-winning Lake House, and provide picturesque views of oak tree groves and the community lake. Homes will range from 2,400 square feet to more than 4,000 square feet and showcase outstanding indoor/outdoor living amenities.

“ICI Homes is proud to team with Newland Communities and be part of the FishHawk Ranch community,” said Kirk Malone, ICI Homes’ Tampa division manager.  “We invite everyone to visit ICI Homes at FishHawk Ranch and learn about ICI’s new design plans and see all of the enticing amenities that FishHawk Ranch offers.”

Daytona Beach-based ICI Homes is known throughout Florida for its eco-friendly, custom-design homes with “smart” and energy efficient features.
