August 9th, 2011 · Leave a Comment

Flagler announces Adam Hollingsworth will head its growing right-of-way division, which recently began offering third-party services to help clients in the railroad industry and state and local transportation departments realize greater value from underutilized real estate holdings. Hollingsworth will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the division and developing new business opportunities. He will be based out of Flagler’s Jacksonville corporate office and assumed his new position on Aug. 1.

Hollingsworth previously served as chief of staff for Jacksonville Mayor John Peyton. During the 2010 election cycle, he took a leave of absence from City Hall to work for the Republican Party of Florida in support of Rick’s Scott’s successful bid to become Florida’s 45th governor. He also served as a senior advisor to the governor-elect’s transition team, which included leading a wide-ranging review of state agencies. Prior to his service in the Peyton Administration, Hollingsworth held executive positions at CSX Corporation, one of the nation’s leading transportation companies, and APCO Worldwide, a global public affairs consulting firm.

Hollingsworth serves on the boards of Enterprise Florida, Inc., Seamark Ranch and the Republican Party of Florida. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Alabama.
