May 6th, 2010 · Leave a Comment

With more companies focusing on green, health and wellness issues, environmental awareness is more important than ever before. The Jacksonville Green, Health and Wellness Expo offers a one-stop shop to learn all you can about local eco-friendly efforts.

The Expo will take place on May 15-16 at the Prime Osborn Convention Center. The hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

Now in its third year, the Expo promotes sustainability and healthy living. It is hosted by Global GreenUp, a Jacksonville company that organizes green, health and wellness events and Farmer’s Markets.

The Expo will feature exhibits, workshops, classes and plenty of opportunities for networking. Most importantly, the Expo offers a platform for initiating conversations and sharing knowledge about making our community a greener and healthier place to live.

Sponsorship opportunities and exhibitor booth space are still available. The cost to attend the Expo is $5. Children 12 and under enter free with an adult. For more information, visit www.globalgreenup.com.

If you are concerned about the welfare and future of our city and our planet, you will not want to miss this event!
