Golf Cart Wholesale, a growing dealer of new and refurbished outdoor golf cart vehicles, has expanded to open a second retail location in Brunswick, Ga. offering sales, service and rentals.

The Jacksonville-based company has operated a retail location in Kingsland, Ga. since 2006, selling gas and electric golf carts and outdoor utility vehicles for personal and commercial use in neighborhoods, camping, hunting, fishing, work, play – and on golf courses.

Partners Tom Purdie and Scott Taylor, a 17-year industry veteran, will join manufacturer representatives from E-Z-GO, BadBoy and Cushman to host a grand opening March 22 at its new location at 3314 Cypress Mill Road in Brunswick, Ga.

“We’re excited to be expanding to Brunswick to serve the city, the outlying area, and the nearby islands,” said Tom Purdie, Golf Cart Wholesale’s managing member. “There is a growing need in the market, and we’re happy to be able to serve it.”

Vehicles available at Golf Cart Wholesale include those manufactured by E-Z-GO.

Since joining the company as partner in 2010, Purdie said Golf Cart Wholesale has more than doubled its annual revenue. The opening of the Brunswick location will result in an increase in the number of employees who re-manufacture, service and sell golf carts to nearly 30 workers.

The opening event on Saturday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., will give the public an opportunity to see and test drive the vehicles and to meet company and manufacturer representatives. There also will be food, giveaways and prizes.
