Governor Rick Scott met with community leaders and supporters at a private function at TPC Sawgrass Stadium Village following the first round of play at THE PLAYERS last Thursday. During his appearance, Scott praised the efforts of St. Johns County for its work attracting new industry and business to the area.

Governor Scott made a special presentation to Superintendent of Schools, Joseph Joyner, in recognition of excellence in St. Johns County public schools. Additionally, a presentation was made to Dr. Dawn Allicock in recognition of St. Johns County’s raking as the healthiest county in Florida.
