GreenPointe Developers proudly announces the promotion of Austin Burr to Regional President.
In his new role, Burr manages the company’s operations in South Florida with a focus on GreenPointe’s growth and expansion through new acquisitions and development.
“Austin has an incredible passion and knowledge of our business, and his new role reflects our confidence in him as a leader,” said GreenPointe Developers President Grady Miars. “Austin has done a phenomenal job managing our South Florida region and we are looking forward to seeing it thrive and grow under his leadership.”
Burr has been successful in developing GreenPointe’s footprint within the communities of Veranda and Wylder in Port St. Lucie, Fla. He joined the company as Assistant Project Manager/Financial Analyst in 2018 and was promoted to South Florida Regional Manager in 2021.
Prior to GreenPointe, Burr served as a Senior Audit Associate at KPMG in Jacksonville, focusing on real estate clients. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and a master’s degree in accounting from Florida State University.
Burr serves on the Board of Directors of the Monique Burr Foundation for Children (MBF), a nonprofit organization founded in memory of his mother, a devoted child advocate. MBF Prevention Education Programs educate and empower children and adults with information and strategies to prevent, recognize and respond appropriately to abuse, bullying, cyberbullying, digital dangers, exploitation, and human trafficking.
