GreenPointe Homes Hosts Monthly Adopt-a-Road Event at Cedar Bay Community in North Jacksonville

January 30th, 2013 · Leave a Comment

GreenPointe Homes, the homebuilding division of GreenPointe Holdings, is taking community involvement to a whole new level by participating in the City of Jacksonville’s  Adopt-a-Road program. Residents are invited to gather together in the North Jacksonville community of Cedar Bay one Saturday every month to participate in a clean-up effort for the one-mile stretch along Cedar Bay Road.

The Adopt-a-Road program is administered by the Department of Transportation and Development and enlists volunteers to remove litter and debris from state and federal roadsides. The program provides recognition for participating groups and organizations as well as promoting civic responsibility and pride. Following the monthly clean-up, residents and their families are invited to a catered lunch in Cedar Bay’s model home for the opportunity to mingle and spend time with their neighbors.

Cedar Bay is a 153-home community located in North Jacksonville and convenient to River City Marketplace, Jacksonville International Airport and minutes from downtown Jacksonville. The Cedar Bay Community Park offers the perfect place for get-togethers, family outings and celebrations with amenities such as community grills, tables and benches that overlook the Broward River, a shade structure and playground equipment for children.  Residents will also enjoy numerous natural amenities as well as a convenient location close to the city’s major employers and nearby shopping and dining opportunities.
