GreenPointe Homes Residences Incorporate Top Features Consumers Want

June 14th, 2011 · Leave a Comment

A national real estate blog on Trulia.com recently listed nine features that many of today’s consumers look for when buying a home. They include value, a well-maintained property, outdoor living area, practical green features, open kitchen and a smaller, less-formal living space.

This report confirms what executives at GreenPointe Homes, Jacksonville’s newest homebuilder, had in mind when founding the company. GreenPointe Homes has received high reviews from homebuyers and the community for its residences in the North Jacksonville community of Cedar Bay. Homes in the neighborhood contain many of the most desired consumer priorities.

GreenPointe Homes has also received attention from the local community and homebuilding industry for its Intelligent Green building program. The 13-point program, which features radiant barrier roof sheathing, high performance low-emissivity windows, R-13 insulation, and water-saving dishwashers, toilets and plumbing fixtures, is being used in every GreenPointe Homes residence.

GreenPointe Homes residences feature an open floor plan, with a gourmet kitchen and a flexible loft space that can be turned into a study area, entertainment space, playroom or quiet reading nook.  Homes in the community feature three, four or five bedrooms and are priced from the $140,000s. Cedar Bay is planned to include 153 single-family homes, 17 of which will be riverfront, and the neighborhood offers abundant river marsh views, wooded preserve areas and an idyllic setting along the Broward River.
