Grubb & Ellis|Phoenix Realty Group brokers Aaron Zarle, Bryan Bartlett and John Richardson recently brokered a sale on behalf of the seller for a 240,000-square-foot distribution center at Imeson International Industrial Park located at 10089 North Main Street in North Jacksonville. The building was previously owned by W. P. Carey & Co. LLC, an investment management company that provides long-term sale-leaseback and build-to-suit financing for companies worldwide and manages a global investment portfolio of approximately $12.7 billion. The building, currently vacant, was purchased by investors who plan to renovate and lease the space.

“The sale of this property is a sign of momentum in the market picking back up again and we look forward to seeing more movement in the area,” said Zarle.

Imeson International Industrial Park is a 1,500-acre commerce center which was formerly home to Jacksonville’s first airport known as Imeson Field. Sears and Samsonite currently have distribution centers in the industrial park.

“Imeson Park is located in an ideal area for distribution centers, with convenient access to Interstate 95 and 295, JAXPORT and Jacksonville International Airport,” Bartlett said. “It is a great choice for companies considering operations in Jacksonville.”

Grubb & Ellis|Phoenix Realty Group is a locally-owned commercial real estate company offering brokerage, development, asset management and property management services. For more information, visit www.phoenixrealty.net or call (904) 399-5222.
