Tanya Mauro, HabiJax Chief Financial Officer

Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville, Inc. (HabiJax) recently announced Tanya Mauro as chief financial officer (CFO) of the organization.

As CFO, Mauro will direct and oversee all the financial activities of the company, including preparation of current financial reports as well as summaries and forecasts for future business growth and general economic outlook.

“Tanya’s exceptional background makes her an outstanding addition to the HabiJax team,” said HabiJax President and CEO Mary Kay O’Rourke. “We look forward to her leadership and her future contributions for the growth of HabiJax.”

Prior to joining HabiJax, Mauro most recently served as CFO of Financial Foundation Group, a multi-billion dollar financial services firm available in 39 states. She is a graduate of Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and served in the United States Navy.

Professional recognition Mauro has received includes the 2011 Ultimate CFO of the Year – Large Corporation by the Jacksonville Business Journal, she is a two-time Corporate Award Winner for Cost Saving Strategies, and is a three-time Corporate Award Winner for Philanthropic Giving. Her community and philanthropic involvement outside of HabiJax includes Disabled American Veterans for North Florida Veterans, The City Rescue Mission, and is treasurer of Oceanway Tsunamis Swim Team.
