Angela Leatherbury, Vice President of Organizational Planning and Operations

Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville (HabiJax) announced that it has recently promoted two of its employees. Linda Coy has been named the organization’s Vice President of Finance/CFO. Angela Leatherbury has been named Vice President of Organizational Planning and Operations.

Before coming to HabiJax, Coy worked as a vice president at Lender Processing Services, Inc. (LPS) for more than 31 years. She has been with HabiJax since April of 2012, formerly serving as Finance Director. As Vice President of Finance/CFO, Coy is responsible for all finance operations, including auditing and budgeting, cash management, mortgage servicing, information technology, risk management and insurance. Coy has a degree in accounting from the University of North Florida.

Leatherbury joined HabiJax in 2002, first serving a term as an AmeriCorps Direct Service Member and then joining the staff in 2003. She has worked in several different departments within the organization, most recently serving as Operations Director. As Vice President of Organizational Planning and Operations, Leatherbury will set overall organizational policies and priorities, ensuring that HabiJax is well positioned to be an agent for ongoing organizational change in a rapidly evolving and competitive environment. She is also responsible for the development and management of integrated, strategy-aligned departmental work plans. Leatherbury has degrees in English and Sociology from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass.
