Harbinger Sign has announced the completion of a comprehensive sign program in partnership with BOX Studios and Younts Design at Rubix Foods’ new Innovation Center, located at 13203 Flagler Center Blvd. in Jacksonville, Florida.

Rubix Foods announced its rebranding in October of 2021. Established in 1981 as Darifair Foods, the company has roots stretching back to 1948 when its original partners, Aaron Lapin and Aaron Block, co-founded Reddi-wip in Jacksonville, Florida. When Darifar was chartered in 1981, it was the first nationwide supplier of dairy products. Today, the company is led by Andy Block, the grandson of Aaron Block, and has evolved into a culinary and food science-focused provider of flavor and functional ingredients for restaurants and food manufacturers.

Block is a fourth generation CEO and Harbinger CEO Steve Williams is a third generation corporate leader. Both men have guided their Jacksonville-based companies through rebrandings in recent years with innovation being the driving force behind the evolution of their respective organizations. Rubix Foods and Harbinger Sign both have evolved as manufacturers by creating research and development programs within their companies focused on invention and technological advancement.

The project consisted of more than 200 individual interior signs, from room identification to full wall graphics and dimensional branding elements, plus more than 40 exterior signs including primary and secondary monument signs, building identification, vinyl lettering and post-mounted panel signs. The sign installation was completed in June of 2022. Stellar was the general contractor managing the project, BOX Studios served as the interior architect, and Younts Design led the environmental design of the 50,000 square foot campus.
