Friends of Hemming Park is proud to host the following programs and events in Hemming Park, located at 135 W. Monroe Street in Downtown Jacksonville. All activities listed below are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted.

Weekly Programs

Monday-Friday: Live Music, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Monday-Friday: Charlie’s Café’, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Monday-Friday: Summer in the Park, 3 to 6 p.m.

Monday-Sunday: Hemming Park Kids Zone, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tuesdays: City of Jacksonville Employees Get 10 percent off Lunch in the Park from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.                                 

Special Events

Saturday, June 10

Florida Spirits & Cocktail Festival, 6–9 p.m.

Friends of Hemming Park will host the Florida Spirits & Cocktail Festival on Saturday, June 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. This unique event includes a ticketed tasting showcase featuring over a dozen Florida craft distilleries and their craft gin, rum, vodka, whiskey, bourbon and more.  Come enjoy a showcase of over a dozen Florida craft distilleries with selections from our State’s cocktail community! Saturday, June 24

Global Community Day, 9 a.m. to noon

Friends of Hemming Park is excited to work side-by-side with the National Recreation and Park Association and Citi employees, who will revitalize Hemming Park through a community service day. This unique beautification project will make Hemming Park cleaner and greener by planting native plants and palms throughout the park.
