Zoolights is underway at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens.

Thousands of LED lights have transformed the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens into a luminous winter wonderland filled with moving sculptures, forests of lighted trees and animal silhouettes.

Guests also enjoy marshmallow roasting, hot chocolate, train rides and photo opportunities with Santa. Live band performances also take place nightly at the Great Lawn. There is also a Zoolights Total Experience that includes a train ride, 4D theater and carousel.

The Zoo closes at 5 p.m. and reopens for Zoolights at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for non-members and $8 for Zoo members. For the Total Experience, tickets cost $15 for non-members, $12 for members.

Zoolights takes place until Jan. 5. The Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is closed on Christmas Day. For more information, visit www.jacksonvillezoo.org/zoolights.
