The Swedish-retailer IKEA has announced the grand opening date of its Jacksonville store.

As reported in the Jacksonville Business Journal, the store will open for customers at 9 a.m. on Nov. 8. IKEA’s famed Swedish meatballs will be available at the store’s restaurant.

The IKEA store is located at 7801 Gate Parkway. The single-level store spans 290,000-square-feet. After the grand opening, the store’s normal operating hours will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Jacksonville IKEA is the company’s fifth in Florida and 46th in the United States. The Jacksonville location will offer 10,000 exclusively designed items, 50 inspirational room-settings, three model home interiors, a supervised children’s play area and a 275-seat restaurant.
