IMPACTjax Supports Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville

February 17th, 2011 · Leave a Comment

We love to hear about young professionals taking an active role in the community!

IMPACTjax, the young professional program of the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce, recently raised more than $1,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville, which provides lodging and other services for critically ill and seriously injured children and their families.

The event was held at Jacksonville’s new entertainment venue, Latitude 30, which collected donations to the Ronald McDonald House from IMPACTjax members in lieu of admission.

IMPACTjax 2010 Social and Cultural Chair Whitney Johnson-Rule had this to say about the event:

“We selected the Ronald McDonald House as the beneficiary for this event because we know how much the donations help support the families the organization serves.”

IMPACTjax members take part in numerous networking events, professional development and charitable activities throughout the year. More information is available at www.impactjax.com.
