February in Florida is the beginning of sunshine and outdoor activities. Check out these events happening in your neighborhood!

Community First Saturdays

Community First Saturdays celebrates Groundhog Day this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on the Northbank Riverwalk Downtown.

The event is held on Coastline Dr. at the east end of the Riverwalk. There is ample parking in the old courthouse parking lot and bike valet available on site, both free of charge. JTA has also generously activated the Skyway for free, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Be sure to take your kids on the Skyway and have an excursion Downtown!

Art Walk

Produced by Downtown Vision, Inc., First Wednesday Art Walk is a free, self-guided tour that combines astounding visual and live art, engaging events and more in the core of Downtown Jacksonville.

Held each month from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. — rain or shine — Art Walk spans a 15-block radius within the Downtown core. With 30 to 40 galleries, museums, cultural venues, restaurants, bars and businesses participating each month and dozens of artists in the open-air Hemming Plaza, Art Walk is the ultimate opportunity to savor and support Jacksonville’s deep pool of creative talent.

Jacksonville “Top to Bottom” Walking Tour

Discover secret underground tunnels and skyline views atop the tallest skyscraper with Downtown expert Gary Sass. Explore Downtown from “Top to Bottom” on this entertaining walking tour inside of eight buildings. Tours begin at the Jacksonville Landing escalators and distance walked is about one mile. The cost is $15 per person and
the tours start every Tuesday 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. To make a reservation, call (904) 827-1845.
