Leadership Jacksonville, in partnership with Lindsey Films, received two bronze awards at the 34th Annual Telly Awards. The awards honored the Jacksonville Legacy Series Fran Kinne documentary and the Jacksonville Legacy Series for educational programming. The awards competition, which presents Silver and Bronze honors to outstanding local, regional and national cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, online commercials, video and films, received nearly 11,000 entries from 50 states and numerous countries. Only 25 percent of entries were chosen as winners of the Bronze Telly and only 10 percent are chosen for the Silver Telly.

The Jacksonville Legacy Series, an ongoing video series showcasing some of the region’s most prominent leaders who positively impact the First Coast community, is spearheaded by Leadership Jacksonville. Both winning entries were produced by Northeast Florida production company Lindsey Films, owned by Kent and Pepper Lindsey. There are two other completed Legacy Series videos, featuring Frederick H. Schultz and Alton Yates, with additional videos currently in production. Videos premiere on WJCT and are then posted on its website, YouTube, the Leadership Jacksonville website and the Schultz Center for Teaching website.
