Are you looking for something to do this weekend? Look no further because we have an overview of fun activities to get involved with over the next few days. Take a look!

Friday, Oct. 1

  • “The Wedding Singer” is the latest show at the Alhambra Theatre & Dining, located at 12000 Beach Blvd. Music for the show is provided by a live band and the show is followed by a wedding reception with dancing on Saturday nights.   • James Otto is giving a free concert with accompanying  band Bomshel, 8 p.m. at The Jacksonville Landing. Call (904) 353-1188 for additional information.
  • The Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra presents Gilbert & Sullivan’s “The Pirates of Penzance” on Oct. 1 – 3 . The perfromance will be at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts located at 300 W. Water St. Call (904) 354-5547 or visit  www.jaxsymphony.org for details.

Saturday, Oct. 2

  • “Boobsaplooza,” Bands Against Breast Cancer will be at noon on Saturday at Lynch’s Irish Pub located at 514 First St. N. in Jacksonville Beach. The event includes 10 bands on two stages. Call (904) 249-5181 for details.
  • Treasures in the Quarter will be from 6:30-10 p.m. at the Spanish Quarter in downtown St. Augustine. The event, in preparation of the city’s 450th commemoration, focuses on the area’s heritage from the 1500s to early 1700s. Includes a live auction, food and music by The Company and pirates. Sunday, Oct. 3

  • The Official Downtown Teal-Gate Party will be at noon to 4 p.m. at The Jacksonville Landing. The event includes a showing of the Jaguars game on the JumboTron and is free to the public. Call (904) 353-1188 for additional information.
  • Watch the Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Indianapolis Colts at 4:05 p.m. at EverBank Field. Tickets can still be purchased for this game. Contact (904) 633-6100 for details.
