Congratulations to Vanice Serrano, vice president and owner of ASAP Towing and Storage Co., who was named the 2013 Overall Small Business Leader of the Year by the JAX Chamber at the Chamber’s 128th Annual Meeting Thursday night. Serrano was nominated for the award by the JAX Chamber West Council.

A family-owned and operated business, ASAP Towing & Storage Co. provides local and long-distance towing for local law enforcement agencies, automobile dealerships, motor clubs, apartment communities and individuals. The company originated in 1995 with one wrecker and location and has grown to a fleet of more than 20 trucks with five locations across Northeast Florida.

Ten Northeast Florida business leaders were selected as the Small Business Leader of the Year by the Chamber Councils, the Beaches Division and the Entrepreneurial Growth Division. Each of these business leaders then competed to represent the Chamber as the Overall Small Business Leader of the Year. The nominees were:
