JAX Chamber to Host Trips to China and Germany in Fall 2012

Interested in traveling abroad, but need some help taking the plunge? The JAX Chamber will host nine-day trips to China and Germany in October that are open to anyone interested in exploring the countries.

The China trip is scheduled for Oct. 23-31 and includes opportunities to tour the highlights of Beijing, the Great Wall, Shanghai and Suzhou.  Participants will also visit the economic development zones in Pudong, a financial and commercial hub, and Hangzhou, a major city with a growing technology sector. Travelers may also participate in an optional side trip to Xi’an to see the terra cotta warrior statues.

Each traveler for the trip to China receives roundtrip international airfare from JFK International Airport (JFK), luxurious 4- and 5-star hotel accommodations, three meals each day, deluxe bus tours, fluent English-speaking tour guides and entrance fees for attractions. The cost for the trip to China is $2,499 per person with an optional excursion to Xi’an for $500.  The deadline to register for the trip to China is July 20.

The trip to Germany is scheduled for Oct. 1-9 and some of the day-trips include Neuschwanstein Castle, the Italian Alps, Austria, Oktoberfest and the Archeological Museum.

The Germany trip includes roundtrip airfare from Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), 10 meals, first-class hotel accommodations and entrance fees for scheduled attractions. The cost for the trip to Germany is $3,099, plus air taxes of $170 per person. The deadline to register for the trip to Germany is June 8.
