Hunger and food insecurities are serious problems affecting millions of Americans each year, and these issues have been heightened by the pandemic.

Ameris Bank is celebrating its 50 anniversary this fall by honoring its founding values and serving the communities by fighting hunger.

During the 12^th annual Helping Fight Hunger initiative, a food bank in every town with an Ameris Bank location will receive the donation of goods collected at their local Ameris Bank office.

Nearly 9 million food items have been collected and over $900,000 donated since the initiative started in 2010.
