Judith Sisler Johnston Appointed to Builders Care Board of Directors

April 1st, 2010 · Leave a Comment

After more than five years of contributing furnishings and interior design services to numerous Builders Care projects, including the USO Quiet Room at the Jacksonville International Airport, Jacksonville interior designer Judith Sisler Johnston is adding a new role to her involvement with the nonprofit organization.

The president of Sisler Johnston Interior Design and ASID Allied Member has been appointed to serve on the 2010 Builders Care Board of Directors and its Executive Board.  Builders Care is the nonprofit charitable arm of the Northeast Florida Builders Association.

“I am inspired by its mission to provide construction services to those who are unable to obtain home repairs through traditional means,” Sisler Johnston said in a recent press release.

Builders Care provides construction services and home improvements at no cost or low cost to elderly, disabled and economically disadvantaged homeowners in Northeast Florida. To operate, they need financial contributions and volunteer labor to assist with ongoing projects.

Sisler Johnston encourages everyone to get involved and serve the organization in whatever way they can. Tell us in the comments section what you can do to support this important community organization.
