Junior Achievement of North Florida Receives $10,000 Grant from Arby’s Foundation

December 8th, 2020 · Leave a Comment

Junior Achievement of North Florida has received a $10,000 grant from the Arby’s Foundation as part of the Brand’s national in-restaurant fundraiser – the Make a Difference Campaign. The local Arby’s team presented JA of North Florida with a check earlier this week at their location at JTB and Phillips Highway.

The $10,000 received will help to fund programming for hundreds of students from kindergarten to grade 12. JA programs are currently being taught virtually by virtual volunteers. If businesses or individuals would like to donate or volunteer for JA of North Florida, please visit janfl.org.

Arby’s has been a great supporter of JA of North Florida throughout the years. Last year, the Arby’s Foundation, granted the nonprofit $33,600 to fund the JA Work$ program and JA Girl$ at work program. Local Arby’s employees have also given their time to volunteer to teach programs in local schools.
