June 7th, 2010 · Leave a Comment

We love events and here’s one you won’t want to miss! The EcoQuest Kayaking Adventure offers the opportunity to discover protected waters, fish, view birds and wildlife, experience beautiful scenery and win cash and prizes while supporting land conservation.

The self-guided event runs through June 10 and offers the chance to enjoy nature at your own pace in a kayak or canoe and explore five amazing sites that are preservation priorities of the North Florida Land Trust. Registration is $10 per person per site. Visit EcoQuestAdventure.com for complete details.

The event will culminate with a Family Fun Fest on Saturday, June 12. The free event will run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the North Guana Landing off Mickler Road in Ponte Vedra Beach. The Family Fun Fest will include environmental education activities for children, music, food, environmental exhibits, a farmer’s market and scavenger hunts.

The EcoQuest Kayaking Adventure offers a great chance to explore our rich coastal areas and wonderful waterways in North Florida while supporting the conservation efforts of the North Florida Land Trust. Don’t miss it!
