Two-time Grammy Award-nominated multi-platinum songwriter, producer and ACM Female Vocalist of the Year nominee Kelsea Ballerini will highlight THE PLAYERS Military Appreciation Day Concert on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.
Ballerini will become the first female artist to perform at THE PLAYERS Military Appreciation Day Concert.
Ballerini has garnered two Grammy Award nominations, won two ACM Awards, and took home the iHeartRadio Music Awards honor for “Best New Artist.” The Black River recording artist’s debut and sophomore albums have both been certified gold, and she has a career total of 10 gold and platinum singles certifications and total streams exceeding 2 billion to date.
In 2019, Ballerini received a CMA nomination for “Female Vocalist of the Year” and an American Music Award nomination for “Female Artist Country.” Kelsea received a 2020 ACM nomination for “Female Artist of the Year.” She also was inducted as a member of the famed Grand Ole Opry in 2019. At the time, she was the Opry’s youngest member, in its nearly 100-year history, since being founded in 1925.
The performance will take place on the island green par-3 17th hole at THE PLAYERS Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass and headlines several initiatives leading up to, and during, tournament week that will honor military members, veterans and their families. The concert will immediately follow the Military Appreciation Day Ceremony, which begins at 4:30 p.m.
