Leadership Jacksonville Announces New Leadership Summit Participants

Leadership Jacksonville, an organization that develops youth and adult leaders in Northeast Florida, welcomed 16 participants to its 2014 New Leadership Summit, a two-day program held at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island. Attendees included CEOs and other executives who are new or relatively new to Northeast Florida.

“The summit offered a chance for community leaders to engage in a meaningful dialogue with others in similar positions,” said Jill Langford Dame, executive director of Leadership Jacksonville. “Attendees heard from Northeast Florida decision–makers and business executives about issues of importance to our region.”

  • Suzanne Hudson-Smith, Executive Director, Jacksonville Public Library Foundation
  • Jay Levitch, Senior VP, Director of In-house Litigation, Fidelity National Financial
  • David Miles, Chief Financial Officer, Healogics
  • Tim Ryan, Plant Manager, Johnson & Johnson Vision Care
  • Joseph Santore, President and CEO, Opta Comp
  • Leslie Slover, Managing Director, Deutsche Bank
  • Brian Taylor, CEO, Jacksonville Port Authority
  • Aundra Wallace, CEO, Downtown Investment Authority, City of Jacksonville
  • Scott Wooten, Senior VP, CFO, Baptist Health

Participants learned about the region’s assets, institutions and leadership from key corporate, civic, nonprofit and educational leaders.  The program included presentations about the area’s history, politics, economy, education system, nonprofit sector and cultural and leisure offerings.
