Leadership Jacksonville recognized Ju’Coby Pittman as the 2020 Tillie K. Fowler Distinguished Leadership Award recipient.

The Tillie K. Fowler Distinguished Leadership Award is presented to a graduate of the Leadership Jacksonville program who has remained active in Leadership Jacksonville. The award is based on exemplary community service with outstanding results produced in one or more community or Leadership Jacksonville projects or efforts. The award also requires that the recipient demonstrates Leadership Jacksonville’s core values.

A native of Jacksonville, Pittman has devoted her career to the advancement of city services, veteran’s advocacy and innovative community development. Her public service has been guided by a simple philosophy, “Go out of your comfort zone to make a difference.”

Pittman has served the Jacksonville community for more than 30 years. She is a graduate of Leadership Jacksonville Class of 1993 and currently serves as CEO/President of the Clara White Mission and as Jacksonville City Council Member for District 8.
