Local Wine Company Grows in Jacksonville, Prepares for Expansion into New Markets

April 8th, 2015 · Leave a Comment

Wine Decadence, a direct sales company that provides opportunities to explore and purchase high-quality wine and food pairings from around the globe, is now planning its expansion into other Florida markets after positive growth in the Jacksonville region.

With multiple Jacksonville area Wine Consultants who organize wine tasting events throughout the region, the company has nearly sold all of its first set of Featured Wines. In April, the company will unveil new Featured Wines, cheeses, charcuterie and accoutrements.

“Wine Decadence ignites passion for wine by providing a fun and educational experience to explore and discover new wines,” said Wine Decadence CEO Richard Cox. “Within the direct sales industry, retail sales grew 3.3 percent in 2013, bringing the industry to a record high of $32.7 billion. We recognized the potential of utilizing a non-traditional approach – directly bringing wine to consumers – and believe other Florida markets will respond positively.”

In addition to small tasting events, Wine Decadence has been very successful with large events and has contracts to serve wine at Jacksonville Armada FC events and other major events. The company recently launched a new website with the ability for online purchases as well as personal websites and portals for all of its Wine Consultants.

Wine Decadence works with Foley Family Wines (FFW) to deliver world-class wines from California, Italy, New Zealand, the Pacific Northwest and South America.

“We could not be more excited to work with Wine Decadence and bring Foley Family Wines into more homes across the country,” said Bill Foley, CEO of Foley Family Wines who is also Executive Chairman of the Board at Fidelity National Financial Inc. “The leaders at Wine Decadence are committed to an exceptional customer experience, and as a result, I expect that we will continue to see great things to come with their leadership.”

Wine Tasting Events are led by a Wine Decadence Wine Consultant who is educated on the complexities of wine and food pairings. Consultants work with individuals and local businesses to host tasting events, providing an opportunity to explore new wines and order products directly at the event.
