Matt Connell appointed to Jacksonville Aviation Authority Board of Directors

Gov. Ron DeSantis has appointed William “Matt” Connell, CEO and Co-founder of Total Military Management, to the Jacksonville Aviation Authority Board of Directors.

Connell is a two-time recipient of the Entrepreneur of the Year award from Ernst and Young, and winner of the Jacksonville Business Journal’s Ultimate CEO award. A member of the International Association of Movers and the American Moving and Storage Association, he currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville and is a member of the Jacksonville Civic Council. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Valdosta State University.

Connell replaces outgoing Board member Frank Mackesy. The Jacksonville Aviation Authority’s board has seven members; three appointed by Jacksonville’s mayor and four appointed by the governor of Florida.
