The Monique Burr Foundation for Children (MBF) is pleased to announce that Ellen Rian has joined the MBF team as National Outreach Manager.

Rian was previously the Curriculum & Training Specialist in the Office for the Protection of Children and Youth (OPCY) at the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, guiding parishes and schools in choosing the best personal safety curriculum for their site, and training facilitators to bring safe environment training to employees and volunteers. A former Catholic educator, she successfully brought the MBF Child Safety Matters® program to the Archdiocese and coordinated implementation at most of their sites.

Rian holds a 7-12 English licensure, an MA in Education, and an Ed.S from the University of St. Thomas with a K-12 Principal Administrative licensure.
