The Monique Burr Foundation for Children, Inc. recently launched a volunteer and networking group for young professionals interested in helping to fight child abuse. Professionals for Prevention will meet monthly to discuss ways the group can support the foundation and connect with its mission in order to provide hope in the lives of children through safety and child abuse prevention education.

Activities during the monthly meetings will include forums featuring elite business men and women, socials and event planning. Volunteer opportunities will also be available and members will be able to purchase tickets to signature Monique Burr Foundation events at reduced prices. Upcoming events include the 3rd annual Fish-N-Chips Marina Casino Night on Oct. 15, in conjunction with the 23rd annual El Pescado Billfish Tournament at Camachee Cove Yacht Marina in St. Augustine, FL Oct. 13-15.
