Monique Burr Foundation hosts LIVE at the Lot!

May 10th, 2012 · Leave a Comment

In addition to the numerous areas for fans to meet up at THE PLAYERS, a new tradition has begun just outside the gates.  This year, THE PLAYERS is unveiling “The Lot,” located just outside the Nicklaus Gate in Parking Lot 11 off of CR210. Through Saturday of tournament week, different organizations will be hosting parties and functions to extend the fun for fans, and raise money for great local causes in the process.

The Lot is a high-end hospitality venue with both indoor and outdoor seating and a VIP area. Entrance to these events requires a separate ticket, with all proceeeds going to the charitable organization hosting the party.

The inaugural event at The Lot benefitted the Monique Burr Foundation and followed the Military Appreciation Day Ceremony and concert featuring Luke Bryan. Wednesday’s Live at The Lot event included live music as well as great food provided by Broadway Pizza and Ristorante, Poe’s Tavern and Roy’s Restaurant of Jacksonville Beach with incredible drinks courtesy of Pepsi, SweetWater and Cultivate Wines. Cameron Williams and Randolph Turner of Jes Grew opened for Pinocchio Knows.

All net proceeds benefited Monique Burr Foundation for Children to provide Speak Up Be Safe – a national bullying and child abuse prevention program being implemented in Florida elementary schools.
