“Musical Masquerade” Planned for First Wednesday Art Walk in Downtown Jacksonville

The November First Wednesday Art Walk in Downtown Jacksonville will be music to your ears – literally.

For the first time in Art Walk’s 11-year history, enjoy live performances by the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra in Hemming Park throughout the night.

The musical evening features the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra and student performances programmed by Any Given Child. Enjoy dance performances from 5 to 6 p.m.; the Symphony performs at 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., and the Youth Orchestra at 7:20 p.m.

Each month the Downtown Jacksonville Art Walk is held on the first Wednesday of the month from 5 to 9 p.m.—rain or shine. Produced by Downtown Vision, Inc., the event covers more than 15 blocks in Downtown Jacksonville.

Free street parking is available after 6 p.m. The Downtown Garage at Adams and Clay offers free, covered parking Art Walk night, courtesy of LAZ Parking. (Enter on Clay Street.) Or park and then ride the Skyway, running until 9:30 p.m. Art Walk night.
