Zumper has released its latest National Rent Report for March 2017, which covers 100 cities nationwide and includes a National Rent Index for one and two bedroom units.
Zumper is an apartment rental website which enables its users to search through real, live-time listings across the USA. Its National Rent Index is up for the third month in a row, 0.4% to $1,143 for 1 bedrooms and 0.7% to $1,358 for 2 bedrooms.
Some highlights
- Overall, the Zumper National Rent Index showed one bedroom units down less than one percent to a median of $1,142, while two bedroom units grew 0.5% to $1,353.
- On the rankings, Jacksonville came in as the 55th most expensive city to rent in the nation this month.
- The price of one bedroom units fell 4.7% to $820, while two bedroom units remained flat at $1,030.
