The new State Road 9B, connecting U.S.1/Philips Highway to Interstate-95 in Northern St. Johns County, recently opened and is helping ease traffic congestion.

Traffic can now connect to I-95 North and I-95 South at the new interchange at U.S. 1/ Philips Highway. The new section of 9B connects the I-295 eastern beltway to I-95. The next phase of 9B is currently under construction and will connect I-95 to County Road 2209. This phase is scheduled for completion in 2018.
