The Association of Fundraising Professionals First Coast Chapter is accepting award nominations for its 2018 National Philanthropy Day. The event will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

Nominations for National Philanthropy Day are open until Friday, June 15, at 5 p.m. Please be aware that there will be no late submissions allowed and the AFP will not be extending the deadline for any reason.

There are 10 categories this year for nominations. The newest award is the Community Award, which honors an individual, group or organization with a proven record of exceptional contributions to the Northeast Florida region through time, service, talent and dedication. Additionally, the honoree demonstrates a commitment to the Northeast Florida region through encouragement and motivation of others to take leadership roles in community involvement to help support individuals and families after recent major adverse events, such as Hurricane Irma.
