Ability Housing President and CEO Shannon Nazworth was recently honored as one of GlobeSt.’s 2022 Women of Influence.

The program honors women in commercial real estate who impact the market in innovative ways and significantly drive the industry to new heights through their outstanding success. This year, Nazworth was one of 11 women across the United States recognized in the “Humanitarian” category.

GlobeSt.com applauded Nazworth’s dedication to serving individuals and families who have been priced out of the dignity that comes with having a home. Among her peers in the commercial real estate industry, she is a leading voice in the conversation about the affordable housing crisis in Florida and throughout the nation. Under her leadership, the organization’s portfolio of properties has grown more than 2,000% — expanding from one group home for six adults with developmental disabilities, to more than 800 multifamily and scattered-site units that house more than 1,500 Floridians.

The full list of 2022 Women of Influence honorees can be viewed on GlobeSt.com and in the digital edition of GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s July/August 2022 issue.
