Old San Jose on the River Breaks Ground on Luxury Amenities Center

August 11th, 2011 · Leave a Comment

Old San Jose on the River, the riverfront community located on San Jose Boulevard near Jacksonville’s historic San Marco district and downtown, announces it has broken ground on its luxurious amenities center.

“The amenities center is going to be the centerpiece of the community,” said Jay McGarvey, owner of McGarvey Residential, the company responsible for the sales and marketing of Old San Jose on the River. “Because of our incredible commitment to creating a truly upscale community, we have paid special attention to making the onsite amenities the highest quality for our residents.”

Residents at Old San Jose on the River will enjoy the ultimate in luxurious, yet understated amenities. The project was designed by architect Michael Stauffer to fit seamlessly with the Mediterranean revival architecture of the overall community. The general contractor chosen to complete the construction of the amenities is Generation Homes, a highly successful homebuilding and contracting firm in Jacksonville, Fla.

The exterior of the amenities center building will feature a Mediterranean-style stucco and tile roof and the outdoor features will include a fire pit, outdoor kitchen and resort-style swimming pool.

The interior amenities will continue the developer’s commitment to an upscale community with a fitness club and large community club room with kitchen. The facilities will also include private riverfront access via the community day dock and meticulously maintained gardens.

Visit Old San Jose on the River at 5000 San Jose Blvd. in Jacksonville, Fla. To set an appointment to tour the models homes or for additional information, call (904) 733-6399 or visit www.oldsanjose.com.
