Old San Jose on the River, the riverfront community located on San Jose Boulevard near Jacksonville’s historic San Marco district and Downtown Jacksonville, recently hosted The Garden Club of Jacksonville’s 90^th Annual Flower Show and Home Tour. Guests enjoyed displays of “Modern Mediterranean Muse,” a standard juried flower show with horticulture and design divisions staged in four decorated model homes throughout the Old San Jose on the River community. Each condo featured a special theme including “Perfect Pied-A-Terre” and “Winter Warmth.” Fictitious “owners” were also created for each model based on size and decor to provide the personality of an occupied home. Ribbons were awarded to entries in both divisions, along with four “Viewer’s Choice” awards for the most popular entries chosen by guests at the show.
