January 15th, 2013 · Leave a Comment

Innovative coach home flats have arrived at Old San Jose on the River, the riverfront community on San Jose Boulevard near Jacksonville’s historic San Marco neighborhood. The community’s new coach home flats offer a single-family feel with private entry, oversized lanai and attached garage, but with the ease of a condominium.

“Many buyers at Old San Jose on the River want the size, comfort and features of a single-family home but desire a low maintenance lifestyle,” said Victoria “Vikki” Robbins of Victoria Robbins Realty, Inc., the real estate company responsible for sales at Old San Jose. “Our new coach home flats are innovatively designed with individual entrances, generous storage and abundant natural light so that they feel like a single-family home.”

What is a coach home flat at Old San Jose on the River? A coach home flat is simply a different name for a group of three single-level homes put together.

Designed by BSB Design – Jacksonville, the coach home flats at Old San Jose on the River are part of a three-unit building that houses one lower level and two upper level homes. Homes range in size from 1,985 square feet to 2,100 square feet, and every residence offers direct access to an attached two-car garage. The designs feature the firm’s New American Spaces™, with an open and airy design that connects the kitchen, living and dining spaces together for family living and entertaining. Each kitchen has a large island that overlooks the living and dining areas and is the social focal point of the home.

The master suites feature luxurious bathrooms with dual vanities, separate tub and walk-in shower, and large walk-in closet. The secondary bedrooms, which are designed away from the master, also feature walk-in closets.

Each coach home flat has a private entry and designed so that interior spaces are filled with natural light. The first floor residence has an expansive lanai and the second story residences feature a large balcony. Upstairs Coach homes include a private elevator.

The exterior of the coach home buildings highlight three architectural styles – French Country, Tuscan and Mediterranean – to complement the distinctive streetscape at Old San Jose on the River. Pricing for the coach home flats starts at $389,000.

Located on San Jose Boulevard near Jacksonville’s historic San Marco neighborhood, Old San Jose on the River also offers single-family homes and riverfront condominium homes. More information about the community is available here.
