The 12^th Annual Plaid Party to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) will be held at the Nippers Beach Grille from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday, May 10. The Plaid Party, which began as a small gathering of plaid-clad young professionals held on the Friday evening of THE PLAYERS Championship weekend, has evolved into one of most popular signature charity events in the region. Last year, participants raised more than $20,000 for CFF.

“Last year’s party was incredibly successful for the CFF,” said Carlos Wilcox, a member of the Plaid Council, the group that organizes the event. “In addition to being an incredibly fun event, we are proud of the level of support the Plaid Party gives to the Foundation. The advancements we have supported will make a difference for those living with cystic fibrosis for decades to come.”

Tickets for the 12^th Annual Plaid Party are $30 through April 26, $40 through May 9 or $50 at the door. Patrons will enjoy complimentary cocktails and beer while dancing the night away to the band Split Tone and a special performance by DJ Rock City. A silent auction will include one-of-a kind items such as autographed Jaguars and Gators memorabilia, golf trips to Black Diamond Ranch and Shingle Creek, Jaguars ticket packages with on-field experience and much more.

VIP tables, which include 10 event tickets, bottle service, complimentary cocktails and a line pass are available started at $1,000. Silver, Gold, Diamond and “Plaid”inum level sponsorship opportunities are also available, and include VIP tables, sponsorship recognition on promotional material at the event and ground passes to rounds of THE PLAYERS Championship.

“We are pleased to announce a new location for this year’s party at Nippers. It provides an ideal, convenient venue for our partygoers,” said Event Chairperson Curtis Dvorak, who plays Jacksonville Jaguars mascot Jaxson de Ville. “We typically have more than 1,000 people in attendance, all sporting their best in plaid for a worthy cause.”
