RiverTown, a Mattamy Homes Community, is celebrating the fall season with two special events for residents and their families. The community will host a British Car Classic show on Saturday, Oct. 21, and a Fall Festival on Sunday, Oct. 22. The public is invited and welcome to attend both events.

“Our Classic Car show and Fall Festival are great events for families who enjoy spending time outdoors enjoying fun activities,” said Jason Sessions, VP, Land Acquisition and Development, Mattamy Homes. “RiverTown is a community known for healthy living and outdoor activities. Our scenic location along the St. Johns River provides a wonderful backdrop for these terrific family events. We hope everyone will visit and enjoy all that we have to offer.”

The Classic Car show will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the RiverTown Welcome Center. The show is open to all British cars and there will be People’s Choice trophies awarded in multiple categories. Voting will end at 1 p.m. Come enjoy these show-worthy cars as they cruise throughout the RiverTown community.

The Fall Festival will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday at the RiverTown Welcome Center. Guests are invited to take part in family friendly activities. The Fall Festival will feature pumpkin decorating, pony rides, a Chili Cook Off, food trucks, music, face painting, inflatables and more.

RiverTown residents enjoy residing in an active community focused on healthy living. The community’s world class amenities include a kid-friendly zero-entry recreational pool with a corkscrew slide, a junior-sized Olympic lap pool, lighted tennis courts, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and more. RiverTown has a full-time social programming director who plans fun events and activities for residents of all ages. Residents enjoy miles of trails that wind along the riverfront, a scenic riverfront park for fishing or relaxing by the water and a kayak launch, making it easy to get out on the river.

Soon there will be even more excitement in RiverTown when the community’s new riverfront amenity center, The RiverClub, opens in early 2018. Located directly on the St. Johns River, The RiverClub will feature an expansive clubhouse, zero-entry resort-style pool, playground, boardwalk with breathtaking river views, additional kayak launch, amphitheater and more. A new roundabout will give RiverTown residents direct access across State Road 13 to The RiverClub. RiverTown is located within the highly-regarded St. Johns County School District.

The homes in RiverTown range in size from 1,600 square feet to more than 3,760 square feet and feature open and bright floor plans with covered lanais to enjoy the community’s naturally beautiful setting. More than 30 home designs are available at RiverTown priced from the $240,000s. RiverTown has six beautifully decorated model homes to tour. The RiverTown Welcome Center, showcasing information on home designs, neighborhoods and amenities, is located at 90 Lanier St. in St. Johns.
